Amman, the capital of Jordan, is a captivating city of contrasts and a unique mixture of young and old. It is located between dessert and rich Jordan Valley. It has everything from ultra-modern buildings, great hotels and restaurants and art galleries. Besides the new constructions there is evidence of older rich culture everywhere.

Wadi Al Seer is one such breath-taking place. It is located only 24 km towards to southeast direction. Filled with exotic green trees, there are beautiful valleys that follow in its path. Valley of the Orchard, Iraq-al-Amir and Qasr-al-Abd are the places which has no comparison to it. They are like myths of ancient history.

Amman city is the country’s political and cultural hub. It is also known as the epicenter of the Jordan. It is claimed that it is one the oldest cities of the world and there are very few places which can compare to its rich heritage and culture. The population of Amman is growing at a fast pace. At the moment it is around 2.8 million people. However, it is expected that population will reach 6.5 million by the end of year 2025. Main reason for this rapid increase in population is the people coming in from Middle East and other regions.

Amman echoes its Greco-Roman connection. As it had been the settlement area for Semantic tribes and people from Arab in the 1^st millennium. During the month of July and August, this city provides special festive spirit of Jerash. During this festival, people from different walks of life entertain by showing the culture of the city. Dancers, Athletes, artists and musicians show their skills as well. It is something which tourists specially come to see from all over the world.
